Educator Professional Development and Learning

With over 45 years’ experience in early childhood education and welfare, Michelle designs and facilitates evidence-based courses and seminars to professionals and families throughout Sydney and NSW. Michelle is engaged by a wide variety of organisations and individual services as a consultant, a mentor and a trainer to support educators, teachers, management and families.

Specialising in QA5 And QA6, Michelle is an experienced ECT, children’s services manager, and adult educator. As well as teaching children, and managing services, Michelle has lectured at TAFE and University and was the Senior Advisor to the NSW DET Minister when the department built 21 new preschools. She has designed training materials for ACEQA and has been engaged as a course facilitator with both CELA and Gowrie NSW. Certified and very experienced in facilitating Circle of Security Classroom for early years educators, together with the seminars Michelle has designed, she regularly provides training to educator groups and individuals.

Michelle’s practical, realistic approach comes from extensive professional and personal experiences, and together with her easy to listen to, non-judgemental, practical advice she is in great demand. Michelle is passionate to see adult relationships with children, enhanced and strengthened, to ensure positive outcomes for all children.
