Michelle is passionate to see positive outcomes for all children by empowering adults to strengthen and enrich their relationships with the children in their lives. Her practical, realistic approach comes from extensive professional and personal experiences; and together with her easy to listen to, non-judgemental advice, she is highly regarded by both families and professionals.

A wide variety of individuals and organisations engage Michelle as a consultant, trainer, mentor, and coach to support parenting and provide staff professional learning and development. Her clients include families, early years educators, teachers, family support workers, caseworkers allied health workers and individuals.

Whilst designing and facilitating workshops and seminars to meet the specific needs of groups of professionals and families, Michelle also mentors individual staff members wishing to strengthen their relationships and career paths, and coaches family members experiencing challenges in their parenting journey.

Michelle’s professional experiences include teaching children, managing child and family services, and coaching families in their role of parenting. She has lectured at TAFE and University and was the senior advisor to the NSW DET Minister when the department built 21 new preschools. More recently Michelle was contracted to develop educator learning and development materials for ACECQA and design and facilitate training programs for Gowrie NSW and CELA.

With qualifications including early childhood teacher, adult educator, child protection trainer and parenting facilitator, Michelle is also certified and experienced in facilitating:
