A wide variety of organisations, services and individuals engage Michelle to mentor and train educators, teachers, allied health professionals, caseworkers and families. Her practical, realistic approach together with her supportive, evidence-based advice makes her a facilitator and consultant in great demand.

Michelle is a qualified early childhood teacher, adult educator, and child protection trainer. A certified and experienced Facilitator in Circle of Security™️, together with the seminars and workshops she has designed, Michelle regularly provides support to individuals, and facilitates training to combined and separate groups of professionals and families.

Professional Mentoring - Support for Individuals

MC Consultancy Professional Mentoring is available to Managers, Teachers, Educators, and other Professionals working with children and families who are seeking to extend their professional skills and/or their career pathways.

During individual appointments, experienced Professional Mentor Michelle Cuthbertson journeys alongside individuals as they set goals and consider how they might achieve the professional outcomes they desire. She provides opportunities to reflect, discuss, plan, and develop strategies to build capacity in one or any of the following:

- Service Management and Leadership Coaching and supporting the professional development of new and experienced leaders, by enhancing skills such as:

Service Consultancy

With over 45 years continuous experience in the early childhood sector, working with managers, families, educator teams, and children, Michelle is now regularly engaged by Early Education and Care Services to support educator teams and management wishing to increase the quality of their service provision in QA. 5 and QA 6.

This includes ‘on the floor’ assessment and mentoring, staff meetings, individual and group professional development and learning, and 1:1 coaching.
